The Foundation is composed a 15 member board which governs the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center. Through the hard work of Kelton & Company, A Corporation of Certified Public Accountants, the Foundation received its 501©3 non-profit corporation status in 2004. In the fall of 2007, the Foundation board decided to create a Technical Advisory Board to help it fulfill its mission and to get input from different fields of expertise. The boards are composed of a cross section of individuals from the community.
