The Foundation is composed a 15 member board which governs the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center. Through the hard work of Kelton & Company, A Corporation of Certified Public Accountants, the Foundation received its 501©3 non-profit corporation status in 2004. In the fall of 2007, the Foundation board decided to create an Advisory Board to help it fulfill its mission and to get input from different fields of expertise. The boards are composed of a cross section of individuals from the community.
